SIR – We purchased two cabin cases from Morrisons to use inside the aircraft as Jet2.com now charge for suitcases in the hold.

Travelling to Malaga recently I was told I had to put my cabin case (hand luggage) into a measuring cradle. Lengthwise no problem but it was insisted I also insert my case widthwise and because of the external wheels it would not go in. I was charged £12 for each case. Surely Morrisons and Jet2.com ought to be aware.
