SIR – As a local citizen I, would like to know the plans for the ever-rotting Odeon.
Will it face demolition? Will it be restored to its natural beauty? Athe age of just 16, I would like to express my views. The Odeon needs to remain. It’s a very important landmark in Bradford’s history.
The thought of it getting knocked down to make way for more pointless offices and flats bewilders me.
That will attract more tourists, won’t it? I think not! I write this letter to plead with Bradford Council, to actually take into account what the public want. And that’s for this remarkable building to remain.
