SIR - On what evidence does Jack Macpherson (T&A, April 4) base his statement that there is no cinema in Bradford?
In the same issue there is an advert for Cineworld which offers a choice of more than 20 films. This cinema is just over the road from the bus station.
However, as the complex also contains a bowling alley and fast food outlets I suppose he would not be seen dead in the place.
As regards shopping, Leeds is undoubtedly better in some respects. The Victorian quarter is an absolute gem.
Unfortunately I can't afford to shop there, and as most of the shops in there seem to sell upmarket, overpriced tat I wouldn't want to anyway.
