SIR - The NUTers are living up to their name again.
The National Union of Teachers, trapped in their tiny world of permanent left-wing rebellion, for years have urged that Christian assemblies in schools should be dropped and Nativity plays scrapped.
Then, at their recent conference, the hard left Marxists in the Union suggest that lectures by imams be promoted and the Koran studied in the schoolroom.
At the same time, showing a remarkable hypocrisy and loathing of their own country, they demanded that the military should be barred from mounting recruitment drives or giving careers talks in schools.
What a very worrying and twisted ideology they are displaying.
It is truly depressing to think the education of our children is under the influence of these embittered classroom revolutionaries.
