SIR - I am writing to appeal for information regarding a theft from my property that occurred during the evening/early morning of March 24/25.
Two house nameplates made from Cornish slate, approximately 15 x 9in were stolen from the stone walls adjacent to the access to my property.
One plate was engraved with the name Grange, the second with the name Cottage and the wording was painted white. They were firmly fixed to the stone wall and have been in place around my property for the last nine years.
I would be grateful if any readers who may be offered the plates for sale or see them at a car boot sale or similar would pass on the fact.
Any information regarding the theft or the location of them now would be appreciated.
