SIR - It is a sad reflection of our times that Jeanette Romani considers it necessary to establish a "women-only" cab operation (T&A, January 7).
However, she should be aware that, over the past 40 years, women have campaigned quite successfully for equality in all facets of life, and rightly so. But equality cuts both ways.
Ms Romani may find that the very legislation her "sisters" achieved over those years means that, if her taxi business chooses to discriminate against men, as either employees or customers, simply on the grounds of their gender, then that same legislation may be used against her.
An interesting example of "Be careful what you wish for, girls".
