SIR - Lying in bed over the Christmas period suffering the effects of the flu virus, I thought to myself, let's arrange a public meeting at St George's Hall and invite the Bradford Centre regeneration chief executive Maud Marshall and Councillors who are actively involved with the Broadway project.
Starting date after starting date have been and gone and the site is a complete eyesore. What people from outside the city think of this once very proud city, I cannot imagine.
If the Broadway project is ever cancelled I suggest we landscape the area for various social activities and forget the ridiculous Park at the Heart.
Everyone I've spoken to thinks it's a daft idea. I'm sure this is the view of the majority of the general public. Did I hear in my dreams someone mention a cross-rail link?
What an opportunity to join the Interchange and Forster Square stations, giving the public direct accessibility to the main rail network.
I'm sure in this day and age the engineering problems could be solved. This is the last chance.
My wife has woken me up for my amoxicillin tablets and once again I'm back to reality.
