SIR - Two teenagers have been convicted of the torture and killing a 25-year-old man, then pushing him into the river.
One got five years and the other three and a half years - for manslaughter.
Has the judiciary gone completely mad because I would call this murder? How does manslaughter enter into the equation?
These two will be out in a couple of years, like they all are.
B J Rudd, Roger Court, Undercliffe Bad time for chaos SIR - I have attended three funerals over the last few months at Scholemoor Crematorium.
On the first two occasions no particular problems on leaving the crematorium but unfortunately on the last occasion, January 3, 2008, the service coincided with people picking up their children from a nearby school.
The result, absolute chaos.
The last thing anyone needs when distressed is having to battle through parked cars and cars trying to find a parking spot.
Luckily in this instance there was just a big enough gap eventually for us to get through the main road.
Surely the Council needs to look at this situation as it will be happening on a daily basis at this time of day.
