SIR - Regarding your article about e-mail responses from Bradford MPs (T&A, June 15), the results do not surprise me.
It has been my experience that Phil Davies MP fully justifies his high ranking on the survey.
Whilst I have no particular political allegiance, what I have found, since Mr Davies was elected for Shipley, he has been a very dedicated MP who takes time out to respond to his constituents' enquires.
He is quick to respond to e-mails and letters and takes time out to try and resolve issues raised.
He is not afraid to tackle controversial issues and will lobby both locally and in Parliament on behalf of his constituents.
He is not daunted by party politics, or political correctness, and deserves my vote for placing local people first, before political ambitions.
I am afraid I have not always had the same experience with other MPs who, on occasions, do not even take the time to acknowledge correspondence.
What a refreshing change!
