SIR - Everyone seems to criticise companies these days. Let me tell you a different story.
I acquired a very old Dyson cleaner, only just about working. From the start I loved it but, as parts were missing, and, as I said it being old, it soon stopped working.
I rang Dyson to ask if they thought it was worth repairing. I got through to a human being straight away!
The lady said that for £55 they would send someone the next day to service and do repairs. The engineer came on time and replaced the belt, rear wheel, grey hose, solerplate cradle, power cord kit, brush bar and the old, very dodgy looking cable, all for £55 I had a phone call from Dyson later to see if every thing was ok. I also had to ring them about an extra part I forgot to order when I originally spoke to them. It was delivered within two days. I was even given a £50 voucher towards a new Dyson.
I thought I needed to say something to the countless companies that need to take lessons in customer care from Dyson.
