SIR – Lister Park has never looked more gloriously exquisite. Surely bees, butterflies and thus birds agree.
Congratulations to the Council for the measured adoption of current thought on differing grass levels/targeted area for mowing. Since when have buttercups been ‘a pervasive weed’? (recent letter from Terry Tordoff).
