Charging point is a step in the right direction
SIR – It is not true to say the electric car charging point in Baildon has not been used (‘Charged with a waste of money’, T&A March 26). I have seen it being used.
It was also the focus point when individuals were able to test drive an electric car during the afternoon of Baildon Friends of the Earth’s ‘Run on Sun Fun’ event.
It will encourage more people to come to Baildon and charge their car while visiting the shops or walking. This charging point is one small step towards the necessary move to a low carbon economy.
