SIR - Once again, Jason Smith does his very best indeed to paint UKIP as an inclusive party, citing defections from other parties, and calling it a ‘stampede’.
Viewers watching BBC2s “Meet The Kippers” on Sunday, February 22, where UKIP members’ bigotry and racism were laid bare, will probably take a different view, as will YOUGOV, who, in a poll today state that UKIP is fading and no longer seen as a long-term force. Furthermore, Lord Ashcroft’s latest poll puts UKIP on their lowest recorded figure.
The figures don’t lie. People have had enough of UKIP and their reactionary brand of bigotry, and the polls are proving it.
