SIR - We have had the highest employment figures on record and the good news in Bradford that the number of people claiming Job Seekers Allowance is down 28% in the last 12 months.
We have now heard the news that the OECD, a leading international think-tank, has praised the Government’s running of the economy, but warned that Britain needs to stick with our long-term economic plan.
I know there is more to do, that is why I have been visiting our small and medium businesses in Bradford South and it is clear to see where this growth is now coming from.
However, these businesses are watching closely and need the confidence to invest further in their staff and infrastructure.
This confidence will only come from a Conservative government and sticking to our long term economic plan.
The people of Bradford South have a clear choice, voting for economic success, or going back to the policies of more borrowing and higher taxes.
