SIR – When are our politicians ever going to catch on to the fact that we, the electorate can actually see through all the bare faced lies and rhetoric and will only respect them when they come clean and give us actual FACTS rather than blatantly false claims and lies against their opponents?
It is so insulting to listen to false statistics and figures, given with the straight faced arrogance of these professional conmen!
Tell us exactly HOW you intend to improve all our lives and not just those of you and your ilk!
Honesty would be much appreciated even if it means admitting that the only way to begin to clear the national debt/deficit may involve small tax rises and some cuts in non-vital services.
Is there ANYONE within the major political parties that has the guts to say this?
Believe me, give it a try and see how savvy the public really are.
