SIR - Re David Hornsby’s letter (October 21): If a severely disabled person does a job “with reasonable adjustments” and can only produce two widgets an hour whereas able workers need to produce eight widgets an hour to make the minimum wage, that disabled person is extremely unlikely to get the job and so earn a minimum wage.
I’d like to hear the reasoning of anyone who thinks otherwise.
