SIR – I’m sure Mr Willis’s facts on air pollution are correct (Letters, April 18) but just like Government ministers, it’s easy to blame (and tax/penalise) everyday people going about their business.

There was no mention in his letter of the planes that continually fly across our skies deliberately spraying extremely harmful aluminium oxide particles into the air.

Just look up on any clear day and you see long chemtrails snaking across the sky (you don’t see these trails from passenger jets).

Breathing in these particles is more of a health risk than any car and causes organ failure and many brain disorders.
