SIR – What a great shame it was to read in the T&A (April 9) that the Eccleshill Treatment Centre is in danger of closing after July.
Not only are 80-plus staff in danger of losing their jobs, but the people of Bradford and surrounding areas are in danger of losing an excellent Treatment Centre.
I have been a patient at the centre on three occasions in the last few years. The facilities are excellent; the staff are friendly and professional and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes beyond my appointment time. One has to ask what will happen to the centre, and all the medical equipment that it houses, if it closes. Will it become yet another empty building in Bradford that will become derelict and vandalised?
NHS Bradford Districts and the Clinical Commissioning Group must not let this happen!
