SIR – ‘We told you this would happen’ is not much comfort to those who are suffering from the problems caused predominantly by the developers of the site at Crack Lane, Wilsden.
The development, not wanted by locals and turned down by Bradford Council on more than one occasion, for obvious reasons was always going to be a difficult one.
However, the developers have made the situation considerably worse by the way they have chosen to progress the development – houses being built before drainage is sorted.
Come on, Bradford Council, having let the residents of Wilsden down once by granting permission for this contentious development, show some willpower and respect for your residents and sort out these problems, you have the power, use it.
