SIR – I read in December last, on the official RFL site, that Bradford Council was an ‘important stakeholder’ in Bradford Bulls. I also read on other websites that several hundreds of thousands of pounds might be involved.
It is now reported that Bradford Council has loaned the Bulls some £200,000.
I do hope the loan is secured. If it isn’t I would, on the behalf of the council taxpayers of Bradford, want to know who signed it off.
