SIR – While the Bank of England in recent times has been independent of the Government, the view of the governor about economic prospects up to the 2015 General Election seem remarkably similar to those of George Osborne.
No doubt this is how the world’s most experienced ruling class works, not a conspiracy but a nod and a wink certainly.
