SIR – I was that constituent who asked our MP Philip Davies if we will ever see the Shipley Eastern Bypass.
His answer clearly stated that he thought the project to be essential and of extreme importance for many reasons and was pushing for it at every opportunity.
However, it seemed to him that it was slipping down the ‘to do’ list of the authority responsible for promoting the scheme, so much so that sadly we might not see the bypass during his term as our MP, however long that may be, though he will never give up fighting for it.
It seems Joe Ashton writing on behalf of the Labour party either doesn’t listen or doesn't want to hear.
