SIR – There are many questions still to be answered regarding the Paul Flowers affair. The T&A reported (November 22) that Labour Council leader David Green had asked chief executive Tony Reeves to write a full report on the matter, which would then be made public.

However, is it really appropriate that this report be prepared by Mr Reeves?

Only a totally independent report is good enough for the people of Bradford so that we can all properly get to the bottom of this unacceptable state of affairs. We all need to know precisely who knew what, and what they did or did not do about it.
