SIR – I had to laugh when business secretary Vince Cable (pictured) had a go at the Tories at the Lib Dem conference, calling the Tory election adviser a rottweiler and also referring to the Tories as the nasty party. It made my day.
Well said Vince, it’s time the Lib Dems fired a few shots across the bow of the Tory ship. With luck it may sink like the Titanic.
