Sir – I am offering my view on the ‘pupils expulsion’ article (T&A, August 24).
It is dreadful but sadly not at all surprising.It’s not just in the schools this dangerous, unacceptable behaviour is occurring. I see similar incidents daily. The insolent demenour, the ‘I’m untouchable’ impertinent aura that goes with it.
These children aren’t in need. What it clearly shows they are in need of is some good old-fashioned discipline from whoever has jurisdiction over them.
