SIR – In your vicinity there is a wealth of talent on the boil.
Last Friday, I attended the Bingley Arts Centre to see Les Miserables (Schools Edition), a production by Stage 84. What an absolutely spiffing work of art created by extremely clever stage designers, costume makers and a crammed stage full of beautiful voices of youth – presented by Valerie Jackson MBE.
That was two days ago and I’m still stunned with after-effects of wondrous songs and action expressed by clever young people who seemingly have the desire to tread the boards. You can tell by the way they do it – the way they are being shown how to do it.
Congratulations and many thanks for the splendid entertainment.
