SIR – I am writing to thank everyone who took part in, or helped out at, this year’s Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k run.

I would also like to say a big thank you to Bradford residents who supported the event, and the Telegraph and Argus for all its support.

The run took place through Bradford on Sunday, April 28 and was a great success for Epilepsy Action. Around 800 runners crossed the finish line, helping us to raise almost £34,000, with more sponsorship still to come in. The money will help us to continue to support the 600,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.

We would like to say another big thank-you to the marshals, kindly provided by Airedale Athletics. We’d also like to thank all the volunteers, who did a great job, as well as our supporters Sovereign Health Care Charitable Trust and Yorkshire Building Society.

Next year’s Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k will take place on Sunday, March 16. For more information or to sign up, visit epilepsy.org.uk/bradford10k
