SIR - Once again the T&A nails its colours to the mast of the killjoys and those who would nanny our society at every touch and turn.
They were against the relaxing of the drink laws; they were against allowing smoking; and no doubt against use of cannabis, etc.
There is no justification for banning fireworks for private use at all. Every enjoyable thing in life has a risk and I much prefer to live in a libertarian society than be preached to by busybody killjoys who are pervading our everyday life.
Fortunately the Early Day Motion will not succeed!
