SIR - Being a victim of the Farepak collapse it is good to see MP Ian McCartney standing up and trying to assist us with some aid.
I myself and six other family members had paid in £400 of the £450 required into Farepak coffers. In total we have lost £2,800 between us.
In January we got wind that Choice Vouchers were in bother, but on February 7 we received a letter from Farepak telling us to continue paying our instalments into the Post Office as usual as they were about to launch Bonusbond Vouchers (should this have read Bogusbond?) We accept we have lost all our payments but just maybe we will get some assistance from the fund. We thank Mr McCartney for his efforts.
