SIR – Paul and Lynda Cromie pledged to spend a proportion of their allowance as councillors to give something back to the community (T&A, December 7).
True to their word, they purchased 20 bins, located them around the Queensbury ward and had them filled with grit for the benefit of the residents.
Furthermore, they will be sending Christmas cards to pensioners with £5 inside.
They’re the tops – I hope they have a happy new year.
