SIR – Here we go again. Whose brilliant idea was it this time to waste taxpayers’ money on voting for a Police and Crime Commissioner at a cost of £100 million or so?
I had no idea who these people were and we were supposed to put our trust in them to do a very important job. No wonder not many turned out to vote.
I for one had no idea who would do the job well so I didn’t vote.
