I identify with David Rhodes’s problem with who to vote for in the Police and Crime Commissioners election (Letters, November 5).
The political candidates are the usual mix of the boring and predictable. Having seen them on TV, I feel inclined to vote for the independent, who is at least an ex-policeman and outside the political consensus that got Bradford into its present mess.
I shall make up my mind finally after having seen all four perform at the Just West Yorkshire hustings at Kala Sangam on Wednesday evening.
