SIR - I would like to express my appreciation to the man who recently, in the cold and dark and pouring rain, sought me out in the car park of the Wibsey Co-op to tell me that I had left my wallet at the checkout.
At the time I was too eager to return to the shop to recover it and I think I might have forgotten to thank him so I should be grateful if you would now publish my thanks.
