SIR – I always read Keith Thomson’s informative column Enviro Watch on a Wednesday in the T&A. Last week (October 24) was especially good. He raised the question: is constant growth in standards of living possible or desirable? The answer is clearly no.
Now all we have to do is to make people see this and do something about it!
Maybe what we need is for every one of us to contact our MPs and the Government and ask what they are doing about it.
