SIR – I wish to thank most sincerely all the people who came to my assistance when I had a fall at the junction of Airedale Road and Otley Road on Wednesday, October 3.
I would particularly like to thank the young man who called the ambulance and stayed with me until it arrived, and also the fireman who stopped to see if I was all right and helped me to my feet with the assistance of another kind passer-by.
It is encouraging that so many people were concerned and proves that the folk in Bradford are the best.
