Developers of £70 million Victoria Mills in Shipley will shell out almost £300,000 for British Waterways to improve links between the site and Saltaire.
Originally, a section 106 agreement was agreed which included Bradford Council implementing a £150,000 scheme to improve links between the River Aire and Leeds and Liverpool canal.
The plans were approved in 2005 but British Waterways incorporated structural repair works to the canal side at Riverside Court, which bumped the cost up to £288,000.
Shipley Area Planning Panel has agreed the costs should be met by the developers.
