Police are hunting a sex attacker who indecently assaulted a 27-year-old woman in broad daylight.

The victim was walking through Lister Park in Manningham, Bradford, when she was approached by a man who assaulted her before running off.

The suspect has been described as a thin Asian male, 5ft 6ins tall, wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.

Det Insp Gerry O'Shea of Bradford North CID said: "At the time there was quite a number of people in the park - some of them may have seen the suspect acting suspiciously prior to the assault or may have actually seen the assault take place.

"The 27-year-old victim shouted for help after the assault and I'm also trying to trace anyone who may have seen or heard her shouting for help.

"It will be useful to trace anyone who heard or saw anything."

The attack happened at about 2.40pm on Wednesday.
