SIR – The Yorkshire company who are in charge of the City Park development showed great sensitivity when faced with the discovery of hidden gems from buildings demolished over 40 years ago (T&A, March 8), but in future we really do need to stop using our heritage as landfill.
I do not want to have to view bits of the Odeon through glass in an exhibition hall 40 years on, I want to view it now restored to its former glory.
