SIR – Regarding S Wise’s letter of November 7, I am no expert in biodiversity but the day a group of rabbits does more damage to the eco system than a group of humans would be a day to remember.
It’s such a narrow viewpoint which completely ignores the immense mess humans make of the planet.
I have been in correspondence with the Shipley station manager on the issue of dead rabbits. I am expecting the RSPCA to take an active interest in what may well be a case of animal cruelty, regardless of S Wise’s positive take on it.
I wonder where she/he stands on the extension of the car park? How helpful was this for bio-diversity?
Basically, cruel treatment of any sentient being is never a good thing and, to me, a sign of a sick society.
