SIR – So, once again Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire managing director Wayne Gradwell tries to justify another of his company’s unwanted housing developments, this one at Cote Farm, Thackley.
He states (T&A, August 12) that “we value the opinions of the local community and prior to the submission of our application we carried out a full consultation process”.
What utter tosh!
He knows full well that the majority of that local community simply do not want this development, which would strip away the remaining green lung between Thackley and Shipley. If he was indeed listening then he would withdraw his unwanted proposal.
Unfortunately all such grasping developers never have any such intentions.
