SIR – I heard on the news recently – “500 children being admitted to hospital to have rotten teeth removed”.
If Odsal Clinic was still as when I worked there, these children would have been examined regularly in school by the resident school dentist and referred to the clinic if required.
There were school nurses and district nurses available, plus baby clinic, midwives, health visitors, school doctors etc etc.
I read on Saturday, in the Telegraph & Argus, that this clinic, empty and boarded up for so long, has been found to be harbouring a cannabis factory!
Beyond belief.
Do the police never patrol in this area anymore, giving the public a chance to speak to them?
There is a public meeting for Odsal residents held once a month – perhaps this should be given more publicity?
