SIR - We would like to thank Mr Philip Davies MP for his efforts in speeding up the building of the proposed Aldi store in Bingley.

We appreciate that there has been a complication or two regarding the site, but, with Mr Davies’s input we feel sure that these difficulties will now be ironed out.

We cannot wait until we can do our shopping in the new Aldi store in Bingley as we have been travelling to the Keighley one on the bus and, as we are getting on a bit. This will be a great help.
