SIR – Was your recent report on Bradford East MP David Ward’s call for off-road vehicles to be registered (T&A, April 2) a late April Fool’s day joke?
Does he seriously believe these yobs in your main report will fit number plates to their motorcycles?
Maybe his plan could be expanded to force owners of sawn-off shotguns to obtain a firearms certificate, or drug dealers to be licensed by the Council – or MPs to pass some sort of reality test!
At least he’s got his name in the papers again.
