Shed fire at allotment in Heckmondwike
THE cause of a shed fire on an allotment is under investigation.
Crews from Cleckheaton and Dewsbury fire stations were called to the blaze, which completely destroyed the shed, at an allotment on New North Road, Heckmondwike at around 9.20pm last night.
No-one was injured or suffered any smoke inhalation in the incident.
A West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesman said the cause of the fire has not been established, adding the fire had spread to a nearby fence.
