POLICE are appealing for information after an armed robbery at a bookmakers in Mirfield.
Three men raided the bookmakers on Huddersfield Road, one was armed with what is believed to be a handgun and the other two with hammers.
The men took cash from the till and left through the front door. The incident took place on Monday at about 9.40pm. They were all wearing grey hooded tops with the hoods up and black face coverings.
Detective Constable Andy Clayton, of Kirklees CID, said: “We are interested in hearing from anyone who was in the area around the time of this offence who believes they may have seen the men preparing to enter the bookmakers or making off afterwards, potentially getting in to a vehicle. “ Anyone with information should call Kirklees CID on 101.”
