OTLEY'S Commonwealth cycling champion Lizzie Armitstead has announced her engagement.
The 26-year-old made her engagement to Team Sky rider Philip Deignan public on Monday night when she posted this photograph on Twitter.
Lizzie, who last month won the Grand Prix de Plouay-Bretagne to claim the UCI Women’s Road World Cup series title for the second year in a row, said: "Last night @PhilipDeignan asked me to be his wife, and I said YES!"
