FLIGHTS were temporarily suspended at Leeds Bradford Airport this afternoon due to chaos caused by a technical problem at the southern England headquarters of air traffic control company Nats.
Air traffic management company Eurocontrol said there had been "a failure" at the centre and initially said airports would not be able to accept any traffic until 6pm UK time.
Flights from Leeds Bradford were temporarily halted on the orders of UK Air Traffic Control but the airport reopened to incoming flights shortly after 4.30pm, although some disruption to services is expected to continue for several hours.
Flights are now operational. Arrival/Departure info can be found here:http://t.co/KnHoruNBHo Please check with your airline for further info
