Dance fitness classes with a Latino twist have helped support six charities.
Money raised by the two fully-booked Zumba classes, at Dillons Fitness in Ilkley on Saturday, will go towards event organiser Mel Blake’s fund raising for the London Marathon.
Her employer Zurich Insurance will double the funds she raises and the money will go to the company’s six chosen charities.
They are ChildLine, Marie Curie, Canine Partners, Calvert Trust, Hope and Homes for Children and Foundation for Conductive Education.
Miss Blake said: “It went really well, I think the snow might have put a couple of people off which is unfortunate but the people who came seemed to really enjoy it.”
Organiser Mel Blake is pictured, above, leading the class at the weekend, while Carole Williams, left, joins in the fun with other participants at Dillons Fitness.
