POLICE are appealing for information after a man was left hospitalised with serious injuries in an assault in a Bradford park.
Officers were called to Bowling Park just after 7.50pm on Monday following reports a man had been assaulted.
The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment with serious injuries, and remains in hospital.
The incident is believed to have taken place towards the western side of the park, close to the Bowling Park Drive entrance.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "A vehicle is believed to have left the area around the time of the incident which is described as a dark blue 4x4 with dark tinted windows.
"Officers are appealing for anyone who was in Bowling Park on Monday evening and has any information about the incident to come forward.
"They would equally like to speak to anyone who has any information about the vehicle described or its whereabouts.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Bradford CID via 101 quoting 13180193183, information can be given online via the 101 Live Chat system or to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
