PUPILS at a Bradford school will be unveiling their latest book anthology in Bradford City Hall today.

The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Coun Abid Hussain will be one of the guests attending the official launch of Feversham College’s fourth ‘First Story’ anthology in the afternoon.

The students have been working on their anthology, titled Spilt Ink, since early autumn last year. The students who participated in ‘First Story’ have been attending creative writing workshops on a weekly basis.

The programme encourages students to gain confidence, awareness and self-esteem as well as improving their writing. The students worked with acclaimed writers including poet, Malika Booker, and playwright, Zodwa Nyoni.

The launch will include readings from the students.
